Living next to a road.

The white truck is mine.  The black vehicle to the left is the one that almost hit the garage and just across the street somewhat obscured by the rescue truck is the other car..

The things that can happen when you live next to a busy road are truly entertaining, if not hazardous.  I posted earlier how a car almost hit my truck when its axle broke and the driver swerved off the road, and earlier when a tree fell on my car during a storm and killed my car.  Well today there was another interesting event that happened involving a near miss of our garage.  Somehow two vehicles traveling in opposite directions swerved to avoid colliding with one another (don't know if one or the other crossed the yellow line).  One of the wound up in the ditch on the opposite side of the road and the other wound up only feet form our garage with its rear end facing away from the road and partway down the hill on our property.  Police and rescue vehicles blocked up the road for at least a half an hour.  It is truly an adventure living next to a busy road, not to mention noisy.
